Great F150 window regulator replacement kit

A few years ago I replaced the passenger side window regulator with this one. The other day I pushed the window-close button on the driver's side and the glass fell on the door. Luckily it was a sunny day and I knew what to order to fix it. You can find some YouTube videos that walk you through this. All you need is a couple of metric sockets and this replacement parts kit. Much luck.

Thank goodness for YouTube. There was a note in the box that said it was a super crew or standard cab, my truck had a super cab. I panicked for a moment. I double checked the part number and even put the new regulator on top of the old one, it looked perfect. So I tried installing it by any means and it fits. Fuuuu. Do not forget to connect the pigtail adapter, otherwise the button will rotate the window in the opposite direction.

Reverse connected has a bit of trouble but gets the job done

This is clearly a cheap product as it is the cheapest option on Amazon. You get what you obviously pay for. What bothered me the most was not the fact that the product was cheap, but that it was made the other way around. Unlike the factory ones where you can flip the motor if it's placed backwards as it has a symmetrical bolt arrangement, this one has two bolts at the top and just one at the bottom in the middle, making flipping the motor useless. My suggestion to fix this is to either 1…

Worth doing it yourself

I have a 2006 Ford F-150 and have had to repair the window in some form several times. This is very annoying. This time I decided to order and install the part myself. I've read some questionable reviews about mis-wiring or other issues, but this part has worked great for me so far. The big question, of course, is how long will it last? Right Side for 2004 F150 SuperCab XLT

I bought this for my 2004 F150 SuperCab XLT. This is exactly the part that fits this truck. As others have said, removing the door panel took longer than removing a faulty regulator, and replacing the door panel took longer than installing a new regulator. The ESC I received had a pigtail to connect between the ESC harness and the truck harness.
