Turns off every hour
The pump keeps turning off. This is the second one I've bought. Get a refund for the first time. Both have the same shutdown problem after about 30-45 minutes (possibly thermal shutdown) and stay off for 2-5 minutes. The pump is in the pond, about a foot below the water level. I tried reducing the flow to see if that would solve the problem, but that didn't help. This isn't a problem in the warmer months, but can be a big problem when the water freezes. Flow is great when it works!
