Review on USB Powered Computer Soundbar with Bluetooth 5.0 and Aux/RCA Connection, Lvssci Portable PC Speakers for Desktop and Laptop (Black) by John Mahfood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Overall good, small problem.

I recently upgraded my desktop and gaming table with a new monitor and some wireless capabilities, so I needed the speakers to complete the transformation and really free myself from my laptop on my desk. It's a pretty decent soundbar and doesn't disappoint too much. My first thoughts were that it has a good weight compared to similar products. I sincerely believe that a good speaker should be heavy. Construction feels solid, although most of the exterior has a glossy black finish (likely prone to fingerprints, scuffs, and scratches). But the keys are covered by a solid piece of rubber with no visible gaps, and the rest is metallic or solid). it has a plasticky feel so it should last a long time even with regular movement and handling. For my purposes it will stay behind my monitor regularly, but I've picked it up and just unplugged it many times. Bluetooth connects as soon as the cables are out and I can move it around the house whenever I want. The speaker has a priority input, so you get audio from the last connection to an active input. Connection was as easy as it gets, plug in the 3.5mm jack and turn it on, it's easy, the Bluetooth connection is the same as connecting to any other device, very easy. No drivers or anything to worry about. The voice prompt announcing an active listing is immediate and clear, although it's a very heavy accent and I understand it perfectly. The remote for switching modes is great, but it would be nice to have a mode button on the unit itself. The sound is surprisingly good. Deep and rich bass and deep tones with plenty of clear highs and mids. It is very suitable for film and video streaming as well as gaming. I really like the upgrade of my laptop speakers. However, when connected to a PC via 3.5 I get a hum and hiss that is only noticeable when there is no sound. This is a shame as you obviously don't want the audio to play. It's not bad, but the 3.5mm input doesn't appear to be a USB power input. If you turn off the device, the interference stops. It fell off badly when I replaced the included 3.5 inch speaker with a better one I happened to have. I really like this speaker compared to others that are similar in design and shape. Once I set it up to avoid feedback from the authorities I will be very happy. But still I really like the sound and it works well with my streaming and games. Edit to update that almost all glitches are due to me using the monitor's USB for power. I moved it to a brick and pedestal and it's almost all gone.

Pros
  • Sleek design and easy handling: This 17 inch soundbar bluetooth computer speaker can be placed under computer monitors to save more desk space. You can use the wireless remote control or the buttons on the side of the soundbars.
