This alarm is amazing! Don't ignore most negative reviews. People obviously don't understand how it works. Many people complain that their numbers change when the alarm goes off. This is because the alarm settings are hidden and when the alarm is set these numbers disappear and the min/max temperature for the day is shown on the screen. The alarm is still set the way you set it. I have one sensor in our garage full of meat fridges and one in our main fridge freezer. The monitor is outside of the fridge, probably about 40ft and 2 walls from the garage freezer. The temperatures are very accurate. I like that it shows the daily low/high so I can see fluctuations throughout the day and set an alarm outside of those numbers. I didn't want to buy it because of the negative reviews but I'm very glad I did.
