Review on ECOGARD XF65627 Premium Fuel Filter for Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L/4.7L 2002-2004 by Paul Evangelista

My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee has clocked up 187,000 miles so I decided to change the fuel filter while I replaced other major components. The old filter didn't cause any problems. This new filter looked exactly like my old filter and came with three new clamps. After watching the video, it became apparent that dismantling the three gas lines was very difficult due to the plastic clamps. I eventually removed my old filter and noticed that one of the new clamps was completely different than my old clamp. I went ahead and installed a new filter with a different clamp and it installed fine with no leaks. This filter has a built in pressure regulator and previous reviews have indicated cold start issues after installation. So far I haven't experienced any of these issues - it starts right up every time. I am very satisfied with this product.
