ECOGARD XF65627 Premium Fuel Filter for Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L/4.7L 2002-2004 Review

The clip on this filter will not work on a '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The original clamp pattern is narrower, allowing only one screw to be installed. The grommets on the new yoke are also thicker, which means you're lucky if you snag a 3 or 4 thread. The bolt also has very thin threads, so you'll have to go to the parts store to get a longer bolt. by removing the original clamp and installing it on a new filter.

Genuine OEM NO. 52100283AG is the correct part. The new OEM# 68193495AA does not work, the reason is that the pressure regulator in the fuel filter is different than the original. This ECOGARD XF65627 uses the new OEM no. If you install this part, the car will start with two or three handles. You can swap out many parts before finding out it's a different fuel filter pressure regulator that no one says is the problem. Great product at a great price. My car's RPM was slightly lower than it should have been. Changed throttle position sensor, air flow sensor and intake manifold pressure sensor.
