Keeps water in shower

Added this to our new shower to save on the shower curtain. It was slightly more expensive than other silicone edges. I compared the size and found that it has a winter base and is slightly larger. It came on a roll and I tried to spread it out evenly throughout the day before installing it. It has helped some. It's best to get it dry before you start. I had to cut some curved edges on the ends to match the sides. I used a small disposable knife with fragile blades. It gently cuts through the silicone with constant pressure. I removed the tape in 12"-18" sections and secured it well before proceeding. Once it was in place I applied partner tape to the shower and onto the product to apply the silicone sealer. When I was happy with that I removed the masking tape and left it on for 2 days before using the shower. I'm sure the latency was too high, but it's reliable and works great. No more flooding on the bathroom floor.
