Lasted all of 3 minutes

My half-chihuahua half-dachshund decimated the gear toy when I left the room for three minutes and came back. He absolutely loves it, but he tore the stitching out and I can't risk him swallowing long threads. Can't get him to fetch it; all he wants to do is chew and claw it (edited to add: Expecting a dog to only fetch and not chew such a tempting toy is absurd), so not a good use of twenty bucks.
