Not the best for my Derwent Inktense pens. The 1st hole does not appear to strip the wood paneling with smooth strips, but rather to shred the wood piece by piece. I think the Inktense pencils have a slightly wider body because I can't get them to sit deep enough in the 2nd hole to even sharpen the tip. The leads of my Prismacolor Premier and normal watercolor pencils constantly break out of their wooden bodies during use. That. However, every sharpener I've come across has broken my Prismacolor Premier pencils. I tried about 7 different sharpeners for my colored pencils (Inktense, Premier and Aquarelle). As of today, colors and packaging can vary for the Staedtler Manual Pencil Sharpener (STD51163) for just over $5. was the best investment.
