, will help your carpet stay in place and lay flat. I needed this mainly because my rug was wavy or sagging at the edge of the rug and it helped some but not completely. But since it's already bent, it may take some time to lay flat again. It's better, so I know it helps. This is basically the same product used for shelf liners. It's not thick at all, but it works because it's a bit grippy but not sticky. I also use this material on the bottom of the cages when transporting my chicks because it doesn't move.
