It is true. It doesn't cover gray at all
I washed my hair the night before so I didn't "just" wash my hair. (I've found that when the scalp releases some oil, the color stays on my hair.) I used the product as directed and let it sit for about 25 minutes to ensure the grays got extra coverage. Rinsed hair, no shampoo, got out of the shower, even if I hadn't done anything to my hair. All my gray hairs were visible. It was when I didn't put anything on my hair. I really like the brush application. It would be great if Clairol applied the same method to the Nice n Easy line of products.
