Product images show collar measurements measuring part of the chain, excluding rings. Based on that I ordered a size up. Got a collar but it's too small. I almost got stuck on my dog. I measured, collar 17.5 with rings; not 17.5 for the chain part. When wearing a collar, it makes no sense to include the rings in the measurement. Rings do not lengthen when worn as the chain runs through them. I had to go back. The quality of the collar seemed good; I was disappointed that it didn't fit my dog despite measuring according to the sizes shown before ordering.
