Review on Gorilla Epoxy Minute Ounce Syringe by Jerry Amos

Tie copper pipe! - Adhesives, Sealants & Lubricants

I was looking for an alternative to soldering or gas welding to join copper tubing for non-potable purposes and decided to give it a try. (I seriously doubt this is safe for pipe used for water.) I've had positive experiences with Gorilla brand products in the past, including silicone epoxy and wood glue. Use within 5 minutes as it is most effective before then. It is recommended to use a plastic liner pack for use as a mixer. There is a small black plastic tab that is said to be used to seal the syringe. This material dried out unusable well before the 5 minute period. However, I suspect that this number is influenced by environmental conditions. I live in Arizona and since the summer season is non-monsoon, the humidity is very low. (Paint dries incredibly fast, for example!) I had to adapt by working fast to keep drying time down. I haven't touched my project for a few days. After that I tried to disassemble it and it didn't work. Everything is stuck and seems glued together forever! Good news: It works on copper tubing and fittings! Bad news: It's messy and dries quickly in dry/hot climates.
