Not Impressed - Colors

These acrylic colors are so transparent. The problem with being for beginners is that they are not a very good representation of acrylic. I bought these for my nephews to play with when they arrive (to keep them away from my expensive acrylics). I wanted to test them first and was so disappointed. Acrylic is all about layering and texture and it's very hard to get that out of this set.
