I have never painted rocks before but I was dying to try it because I wanted to have beautiful rocks scattered around my garden. They work great and the colors are very vibrant. I liked that the hints were very good and allowed me to add some detail to my work. I'm not an artist but I was able to recreate some pretty rocks I saw on Pinterest and they look amazing in my garden. I think I'll buy myself some small cans of acrylic paint to paint the whole rock in one color as a background without wasting pencils and then I can just use them for finer details. I used the glaze I bought from Hobby Lobby to weather seal the stone. Recommend them if you want to try painting rocks!
