Review on Crankshaft Holding 1985 1993 Pulley Turning by Bill Forbis
Too bad I just bought a real instrument.
Do not align with the holes in the crankshaft pulley at TDC. It can be used if you rotate the pulley about 15 degrees, but considering it needs to be aligned at top dead center, this isn't ideal. I was able to get it to work but wasn't happy getting it to work as it is a dedicated tool designed for that sole purpose. Spend $15 more and get a real tool.
