Review on πŸš— Enhance Automotive Insulation with Second Skin Audio Spectrum Liquid Sound Deadening Spray and Paint - Water Based Viscoelastic Vibration Damper (1 Gallon) by Tommy Willis

Good product for reducing vibration and absorbing sound

Smoothly passed, evenly covered. I actually used this to cover the laundry chute in our new house. Every time you closed the garage door, the difference in air pressure caused the gutter to rattle and the sound to echo through the gutter. I wanted to find something that would reduce the vibration of the aluminum gutter and also reduce noise. Well, this color did just that. I applied 3 coats and put studio acoustic insulation on top of the gutter and voila, problem solved. The aluminum no longer vibrates from air pressure and that calms the area considerably. Can be applied very well with a roller and brush and lies even better on the second and third layer. It was a bit pricey but worth it for my needs.

Pros
  • AUTOMOTIVE SOUND INSULATION: Used to dampen vibration and prevent heat transfer on metal surfaces of all types of vehicles (cars, boats, trucks). Spectrum also works well with metal storage carts, subwoofer boxes, and HVAC ducts. Spectrum works by stopping vibrations. It does not block or absorb airborne sound waves.
Cons
  • thoughtlessly
