Review on 🔥 Thermablaster 15,000 BTU Black Infrared Portable Heater by Michael Pickering

I ordered this item to keep my wife warm while she enjoys the patio when the Evenings will be a little cooler than expected. Works well but with some limitations. Firstly, the packaging and some of the descriptions state that this product is for indoor use. Not a good idea due to carbon monoxide formation. Technically, this is NOT a catalytic heater. They cost more than $$$. Which brings me to point 2: the gas inlet is open to air, and the hole that shoots gas into the heating chamber is open to allow breeze/wind to affect the heating circuit and gas flow to the heating network. Wind hitting this hole in just the right spot will change the air/fuel mixture and can cause real flames to rise above the screen, so you need to be careful of what is above and around the heater . third paragraph; Being an import, it didn't arrive in perfect factory packaging: the ends of the base were sticking out of the holes in the packaging, and the rollover sensor was loose and lacking any of its mounting brackets. Luckily, I have a stash of remanufactured nuts and bolts in my garage that I could easily use to replace the missing parts. Later, when the package was ready to be discarded, the screw fell out of the box and got stuck in the tabs at the bottom of the box. Nuts and washers were nowhere to be found. Overall it does a good job for the price and offers better comfort.
