Will not fit 14 year old Honda Pilot

I have a 2014 Honda Pilot with 110,000 miles and the dealer said my matching bushings were on both the driver and front passenger side are bad. . Rather than paying dealer prices to just replace the mating bushings, I chose to replace the entire control arm including the mating bushing along with the tie rod bushing. The Moog controls were in pristine condition and everything looked great. I removed the old control arm and bushing and when I went to install the Moog control arm it was very difficult to align the two mounting points attached to the frame. I ended up fitting them into the frame, but when I started installing the screws, the screw holes didn't line up. After many painful attempts to remove and reattach the new arms, I decided to measure the distance between the two frame attachment points on the old gun and compare it to the Moog gun. Of course, the Moog control arms were 3/16" shorter than the OEM arms removed from the car, which created an installation problem. After many calls, I found that Napa had new suspension arms in stock, and I went to get them. raised, measured the same size and it matched the OEM perfectly. Went home and after an hour and a half I installed both wishbones and assembled the car. They came and checked but they were definitely not the right size for my car.

  • Shocks, Struts and Suspension
