This whisk works much better than the one that came with the blender. I bought this commercial model precisely because the home version broke very easily. This one is pretty strong. I tested this with a batch of dog biscuit dough that was very heavy. The recipe written by the pastry chef used a spatula, so I used that one. The dough turned out to be a lot tougher than I expected and really gave the blade a workout. He handled it like a pro. If he can handle that load, I'm sure he'll last a long time. I'll use a dough hook next time I use this recipe, but it was a good test of the strength of this blade. Passed with honors! It does an excellent job of scraping and embedding dough from the sides and bottom of the bowl. I'll never have to scrape it off again. I like the light color too.
