I used this kit to replace the ball joints on my 2003 RAM 3500 4x4. Squeezing those 18 year old joints out was no problem and I even had to forego hitting the top pivots and only use a ratchet due to backlash. Still not bad. I had to use 2 adapters (H&L) for the bottom parts, but that didn't cause any problems. It has adapters for even larger ball joints, so later models shouldn't be a problem. There was also enough clearance for the 1485 U-joints. I didn't use one of these very often (for ball joints) and I misadjusted it, which put a lot more stress on the C-clamp than it would have. . i see ok It distorted or showed no weakness at all. Lesson learned; DO NOT hold on to the C-Clamp while squeezing your ankles. If the joint comes loose, you could end up with a bruised toe!
