Actually the quality is much better than I expected. As a 17 year old on a budget, I bought this to use primarily for protection in my vise (it's nice to have some padding when clamping fragile items tightly) but actually found it to be of high enough quality to be covered with leather work. . I work with leather and enjoy it, but I tend to buy it in bulk at a higher price from better known and more reliable suppliers, and of course I was skeptical, but it's definitely quality enough to be used in tanneries. I made a belt loop for my nylon whip and it worked great. It's quick and easy to make and looks really good. This is great for getting small amounts for a small project or two when you need it fast. would recommend.
