Review on πŸ”§ Shaft and Bushings Kit with Impeller Axle Set by Angie Creek

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Tolerance must not be missing. Make sure you are there.

Not sure if this was necessary to reduce noise because. I also installed a new impeller. See my respective review for more details on the whole topic. This shaft is surprisingly expensive. Enough to make you wonder if you need it if you are also considering replacing the impeller. But it's possible that the shaft caused the noise because over time it didn't fit properly and wobbled as a result. The tolerance is so tight that it is extremely difficult for any layperson to determine whether the shaft or the rubber end caps are to blame for the rattling. Noise comes from the filter. The stem is very brittle and will break if you accidentally use too much force when inserting it, so keep it as close as possible to the point of entry (as well as when inserting the two rubber tips) and use the screw fitting. no forced pushing. It comes with two rubber nozzles (sleeves) that you will also need to replace in your filter. It can be difficult to get out of the filter itself. I used long sharp tweezers. Since the bushings are rubber I assume they will wear out over time. I am happy with my home which has been running continuously for five years now. I am not satisfied with the price of the parts and the filter material. When money is tight or you don't agree with overpriced brands restricting supply due to scaremongering, use third-party filter media and even replacement parts. If you buy third-party replacement parts, examine them carefully first to make sure they work well for others. YES, the replacement shaft and bushings (and impeller) work fine in my home. Due to the extremely strong interference of the shaft, bushings and impeller, you need to make sure they are a perfect match for your filter. I can make sure these parts are there. "tail" from the aquarium, without fish.
