Water Pump Shaft and Bushings Accessories

Just what we needed to fix our 2215 canister. Now he's running again. I accidentally broke the shaft while cleaning it. Decided to order two as no one had stock in the area. I was afraid of landing but it worked great!

Fixed my pool pump!

I have a Summer Escapes 15ft round pool with f1000c pool pump. The ceramic part in the impeller broke and Polygroups (manufacturing) didn't have the part I needed and I looked EVERYWHERE for a replacement. In the end I decided to order this thing not knowing for sure if it would work but it does! My pump is working again! I hope this helps someone else!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not sure

This should read: Eheim shaft and sockets for 2215/2217/2315/2317. Eheim part number 7438430. This is the wrong picture - the correct picture is attached. I bought this along with the impeller for 22/15 - Eheim part number 7633100 and paid no postage. The order was delivered within 5 days. Good price for both items and pretty fast free shipping.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • High price

Shaft fit Eheim Professional II - after trimming!

My Eheim Pro II started making annoying noises and the flow seemed to drop, so I took it apart and found the impeller shaft was broken (after 20 years, probably normal fatigue). So I ordered this part, thinking it would be an easy replacement, but found that the new part was about 1/4 inch longer (the bearing housing door wouldn't snap to the underside of the powerhead. So I grabbed a Dremel cutting disk, excess length removed, bearing cap put on and "Shazam!" - the filter is back and working…

Tolerance must not be missing. Make sure you are there.

Not sure if this was necessary to reduce noise because. I also installed a new impeller. See my respective review for more details on the whole topic. This shaft is surprisingly expensive. Enough to make you wonder if you need it if you are also considering replacing the impeller. But it's possible that the shaft caused the noise because over time it didn't fit properly and wobbled as a result. The tolerance is so tight that it is extremely difficult for any layperson to determine whether the…

Exactly what I needed

I have an Eheim 2215 external filter, one of the old Eheim models. I received it used when I bought my used tank and all accessories from a private individual and have never asked the seller any questions. I don't know exactly how old my canister is, I only used it personally for about 8 years before I had any major problems with it. Sometimes it made strange noises when I turned it on after cleaning. Sometimes it was just air escaping the lines, but other times it was more of a grinding noise.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
