Beginner - take without hesitation. Very versatile. In conjunction with 18-55 will satisfy almost any need of an amateur photographer. Its pros: Price. A branded lens for this money is generally ideal. The ultrasonic motor is a definite buzz. The stabilizer takes out the stroller - I tried to shoot the same thing with the stub turned on and off - the amount of movement is 5 times less. Good for macro. Portraits are also successful, but for them, it seems to me, it’s better to take special “portrait” fixes. Cons: Dark. Sometimes you have to shoot at shutter speeds of 1 / 10-1 / 40, which, of course, can “blur” the picture. Even the stabilizer does not always help. Well, or you can increase the ISO, but here the quality of the image will suffer.
