It's not as good as my old one!

I cut fresh strawberries with an egg slicer and have been using it for about 2 years now! It was working great until one of the wires broke and I was afraid it would cut me if the wire was loose and not fastened! The new one didn't cut through the soft strawberries to the end! I had to press my fingers on the wires to cut the strawberries all the way through! Very dissatisfied with these new egg slices! Could you send me another one but from a different brand! I love sliced strawberries, my husband loves sliced ones!
