This is exactly what I was looking for my Surface Pro 6. I needed a similar sized, small, lightweight, portable monitor to use with my tablet. I can put a graded test on one screen and an answer key on another, and now I don't have to print out the answer key to grade my work. You can power this monitor from the USB port on the Surface Pro 6 and use DisplayPort to connect to the monitor's USB-C port. It just didn't work for me. Powering the monitor with a different USB power adapter did that part, and while I got DisplayPort to USB-C working, I eventually switched to a DisplayPort to HDMI cable for better results. Still having issues that I won't attribute to the monitor or cables, I decided to try a wireless HDMI dongle to use Miracast from a tablet. This has now become my default setting but I have to say it won't work for everyone because using Miracast causes video lag and I don't think it's good for gaming, but it's not a reflection of the monitor itself. The monitor is great and they sent a free case to use as a stand. I can't adjust the settings to match the tablet screen, but that's really not a priority for me, and I think with time, patience, and a good setup, you could get two monitors pretty close together, but you'll always have a mat done. Monitor and glossy tablet surface. I also assumed from the description that the monitor has another USB port that you can use to connect to another USB device via a hub. But that was just my misunderstanding. If I had changed anything it would be the location of the HDMI and other connection points, which have been moved to the center instead of the corners. Maybe even a second set of connection points at the top or bottom for easier use in portrait mode. A way to connect to this monitor wirelessly, rather than using a separate dongle, would truly make this monitor a class leader. I don't know about such a small street monitor with built in wifi but it would be great. Overall I love this monitor and would buy it again and would happily get another one or even two in the future. just to have the final setting. I will and have already recommended this to friends and colleagues and shared the limitations found in my configuration. Haven't used it with my MacBook Pro or other devices yet, but I have no reason to think anything will go wrong, especially if your source is HDMI.
