Summary: I really like it and would recommend it to anyone looking for it. Pros: small, light (it's not a slim version), good display, no setup required. one cable for display and power supply: not yet ------------------------------------------------ ----- - --------- Due to my job requirements, I spend quite a lot of time at the customer's site/factory. Our development platform opens up a lot of windows and I usually have three monitors in my office to manage my screen space. but working in a factory means no extra monitors (power, cables, etc.). I wanted to have a mobile monitor that could offer me dual monitors at least for a while. After some research, I chose this UPERFECT 13.3 inch Computer Display 1920×1080 IPS Screen Portable Monitor based on portability and cost. What's in the box: Monitor, USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-A to USB-C cable, HDMI to HDMI cable (both ends full size, not mini), charger, stand, manual and gift card. All cables are about 3 feet long and appear to be of good quality. The construction is metal, most likely aluminum, not plastic. There are two ways to connect to a laptop using the included cables: a) USB-C to USB-C. The cable provides both video and power to the monitor. b) USB-A to USB-C and HDMI-HDMI. the hdmi cable is for the display, the usb cable is for powering the monitor, either by plugging into an available usb port on a laptop or by using the included charger. FireWire for video output. I used the included 3ft USB-C cable to connect the monitor to my laptop. It worked right out of the box with no additional drivers required. Initially, it mirrored the main display. Then I switched it to extended desktop. Text is crisp and clear, colors are decent, and response times are good. I have opened different programs on this monitor and everything seems fine. Photos look great, video display is top notch. no light escaped at the edges. Since I used a USB-C to USB-C cable, the audio signal is automatically transmitted to the 2nd monitor (Intel chip). The sound quality is surprisingly good for general use. However, I changed the orientation in the Windows display settings. The USB-C port on my laptop is on the left, which is good as I'm right-handed, the inputs on the monitor are on the right. The 3ft cable is slightly shorter when the monitor is installed on the right side of the laptop. Then I tried to connect the monitor to my phone (huawei P20 Pro). The phone "projects" tablet mode onto an external monitor by default, but it can also be switched to phone mode, which basically mirrors the phone's display. In tablet mode, the phone is used as a keyboard. I can open multiple applications at the same time. although I'm not sure I'll be using this mode often since the monitor is powered by the phone.game power. I haven't tried playing games on this monitor, so I'm not sure if the response time is suitable for gaming. Durability. I've only used the monitor for a few hours so far. let's see how long it lasts. For almost $200 I hope it can last a few years.
