I bought these specifically for a small kitchen for a child who is moving alone. For this purpose they are fantastic. The detachable handle makes it easy to store and allows it to be used as a pot on the stovetop or in the oven. Considering the size, a person cooking for 1-2 people can do a lot with these pans. The build quality is good. Not outstanding, but good for the price. These are lighter pots and are best for use over low to medium heat (other than boiling water). But for most people, that's exactly how you want to use them, so it's not a huge limiter. It took me some time to get used to the detachable handle. It's easy once you get the hang of it. I would say this can be a little annoying for someone with shaky hands. Again, this is a great feature for a small kitchen as it makes it easier to stack pots that would otherwise take up a lot of space. However, if you use all the pots at the same time, you will have to move the handle a bit. Although I found tongs worked well to just take it off the heat to cool in the center of the hob. Overall, this is a great buy for a small or entry-level kitchen, but I wouldn't recommend it for a typical kitchen with room for prettier pans.
