I'm not sure what the problem is. The camera works fine until I start the engine. It cannot be used while the engine is running. I ran a separate shielded power cable directly from the battery to the unit to eliminate any interference. Vain. I'm overwhelmed with this and have spent a lot of time trying to get it to work. I have a 12 volt filter that I bought extra which makes no difference. I have another front camera that works great all the time. ? I love it but it's useless to me if I can't move the truck and still watch the video. :( UPDATE: Tried everything to get the camera to work. Nothing worked until I turned off the 'extra' LED backup lights I added a year ago. See why they were making the camera go haywire I don't but that seems to be it because of the LED lights Now I will split the wires as they are routed in the back of the truck The camera is currently working great If I hadn't installed the LED reverse lights I would have given this product 5 stars for starters now i find it works great and all thanks to the installation i did.
