Amazing Rear View Camera

After 4-5 trips to Best Buy to get a new stereo and rear view camera for my son's Ford F150 and a crazy learning experience with the complexities of replacing electronics (e.g. radio screen , control panel and rear view camera), the technician suggested me to buy this rear view camera. The bottom line is that you do your homework before you buy this stuff. Anyway, I bought this camera and hooked it up to a Pioneer stereo. I chose the camera over the Pioneer camera for the location and the view.

Works without problems

Connected to a cheap Android head unit. This works very well. Everything went well with all connections and commissioning. (I set this to a 3-position reverse off-on switch.) It turns on when I put reverse gear. I can turn it off when I want to, or I can turn it on when I'm walking down the freeway to check the trailer out. or see if it's really an anus behind me that I can't see anymore. This is my first rear camera so the picture looks pretty good to me. It doesn't work well in too bright…

The camera works great.

I'm not sure what the problem is. The camera works fine until I start the engine. It cannot be used while the engine is running. I ran a separate shielded power cable directly from the battery to the unit to eliminate any interference. Vain. I'm overwhelmed with this and have spent a lot of time trying to get it to work. I have a 12 volt filter that I bought extra which makes no difference. I have another front camera that works great all the time. ? I love it but it's useless to me if I can't…
