So this little girl is AWESOME! It's lightweight and compact, ideal for plane/bus/train/boat/car travel! I put it in my bag for a trip to Iceland and it was a champ. When I was in Iceland in February, I tried to photograph a large waterfall in the middle of a torrential downpour. I took some great photos and then I thought it would be best to take one with my phone so I can post it on Facebook and make all my friends jealous. As soon as I moved a little to the side to take the picture, a gust of wind of maybe 80 km/h almost knocked me out. Luckily I was close to the tripod, otherwise I would have taken it with me. The tripod didn't move with my Mark III EOS 1 camera and 24-70mm lens. I couldn't even believe the 5k camera and lenses didn't break! Anyway, I'm completely sold out. This kid is worth its weight in gold! Can't recommend enough. It's easy to use, strong and has literally withstood wind and rain!
