I don't know why but with our valve we have low flow. Measured directly from bare pipe to 5 gallon pail, 8 gpm. Measured from valve after connection, 5 gpm. Filling our tub takes about 12 minutes. It took about 7 minutes in our old bathtub with an inferior bathtub faucet. Disappointed after spending close to a thousand on a bath filler and valve combo. And yes, the installation is correct. Only about 5 feet from the main 3/4 inch branch which is near the main inlet/water heater. 65 psi at the wellhead, 55 at the fittings. 9.5 gpm on an external device near the well. 8 gpm with old hull before replacement.
