Review on πŸ”₯ XtremepowerUS Premium Propane Gas Range Stove: 2-Burner Cooktop with Auto Ignition, Ideal for Outdoor Camping Stoves Station and Grilling by Thomas Henry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There is no flame control, the block is bigger than it looks.

In general, this appliance is suitable for cooking, but there are a few problems. First, the starter runs about half the time. It's okay as I have a lighter nearby. My unit for some reason came with cast iron burner elements covered in gold spray paint. They smoked and stank the first few times I tried to cook with this appliance. I suspect the fumes are not good for you at all and probably not what you want them to be rising around your food. Four-spoke pan supports do not provide adequate stability for pots and pans, especially small ones, 8 inches or less. They tend to slip off because the spokes don't go far enough down the center. Five or six spokes, each an inch longer, would be a definite improvement. The inner and outer ring of each element has an airflow regulator under the glass surface. In my experience, knobs and airflow controls don't give enough control. Even on the lowest setting, the center element has a strong flame that ignites the food in the center of the pot or pan unless I reduce pressure on the reservoir regulator. The unit is also larger than it appears in the photos. The dimensions given are accurate so lay out a piece of cardboard or similar to get an idea of the actual size before ordering. In hindsight I probably should have picked one smaller/cheaper unit and was immediately secured.
