Review on Polder 358 Ultra Probe featuring a High-Heat 40-inch Silicone Cord by Jennifer Miller

Firstly I am NOT saying this product is counterfeit; it looks just like the old probe that served me for many years. However, I will say that both my old and upgraded/new electronic polder thermometer turn on and show 'HI' for temperature only when the unit is on. And both of my thermometers work correctly with the new thermometer's sensor in place (I bought a second thermometer after that sensor failed 5 months after purchase). I don't have time to go back to get a replacement from this company and see if that replacement probe is just a lemon so my only option to dissuade you from buying this probe to help you is my bad luck to avoid.
