I drive a 1998 VW convertible because I had a fuel shortage problem. Since the convertible is owned by an elderly woman, I was concerned that I would not be able to find the gas cap. But my brother found it for me and I decided to give it a try. There were two keys in the set, so I hid one in the car and carried the other with the car key. It works very well and my mileage improved immediately (which I take to mean the siphons were thwarted). It's easy to use, right out of the box.
