I just moved from having a dish washer to hand washing dishes.In the past I have just honestly use a clean towel to put my clean dishes on.But this does make the transition from going to a dish washer to hand washing a little better, since it's not an eye sore.I love the stainless look, and the design of it is different then the average ones you see in the store.It is indeed rust proof.It does have optimal space for silverware and dishes.I do like the drainage, and the black matt on the bottom is easy to clean.Assembly took about 10 minutes, so not bad.I do recommend.
