Well I have to say that for $17 you can't go wrong, just be prepared to re-tap the swivel. If you don't have a function that allows you to grab the holder and rotate it to a predetermined position - 360 degrees. This feature isn't that great. A little shaky on the track. The iPhone 12pro's weight was enough to be an issue. I installed this on my 2015 Outlander (I placed it where a mirror would normally be mounted). You cannot install and mirror it. They conflict and the phone will block the mirror if installed in that location. But for the money, I think it grabs and holds my phone like a badger, even with the Otterbox Defender case on. BUT. REMEMBER THAT. DO NOT FORGET. SERIOUSLY. YOU CANNOT QUICKLY REMOVE YOUR PHONE FROM THIS IRON MAN ALUMINUM PHONE WITH JAWL LOCK. SO YOU CAN'T? YOU CANNOT TAKE PHOTOS OF THE BEAR FAST FOLLOWING THEM ON THE PATH. nope! You won't get it anytime soon. at least 5 seconds with a rubberized phone case. It has rubber pads in the mount to grip the phone. My phone case has a rubber outer shell so it will hold it tight and last a lifetime. I doubt it will fail. I hope not. it is difficult. Knowing your phone isn't going anywhere is a lot better than having it fly off a cheap plastic phone mount, hit a tree, and end up in a muddy swamp. Just buy this phone screwdriver. and don't forget to order superglue.
