I had to replace my old muffler because it was triggered by car alarms. My mechanic chuckled when I told him, then added that while this new high-performance muffler doesn't break the noise laws, it certainly isn't quiet. Now I can hear my stereo, which I really appreciate. I appreciate how this underscores my Spyder's performance. I suspect that the younger generation that sees me driving by or drives by after reading my license plate (sometimes I drive topless) might be disappointed to see a 69-year-old white-haired guy driving such a cool car. I've had this muffler for about 6 months now and would recommend it to anyone regardless of age as a replacement.
