Efficient, quiet and more than reliable

Aircat never ceases to amaze me! Both of my impact guns have been working great since 2013 and I expect this lovely angle grinder will be no exception. I bought this in December 2017 so it hasn't proven itself yet, but if my other two Aircat tools prove it then it certainly will. An angle grinder's trigger has a short stroke, but you can still get variable speeds if you don't want it spinning at full power. It's good for both grinding and cutting, and as a mechanic in Minnesota, I often do both thanks to the incredible amount of rust we get here. Half of the suspension components I replace have the bolts/studs cut through as rust traps the nuts halfway to the threads and this tool has gotten the job done every time. It spins fast enough that I don't feel the need to press hard enough for it to get stuck, and I haven't gotten it stuck while cutting yet. Another thing to note is how quiet this thing is. My colleagues have commented on this several times and were surprised when I told them how much I spent on it. It might be a budget air tool, but it's not the noisy Chicago Pneumatic grinder you have in your shop. I cannot recommend Aircat tools enough. As a mechanic who doesn't want to take out a loan every time they need a new tool, I really appreciate the great combination of quality and low price that Aircat continues to offer.
