We have a 9 month old Goldendoodle who tends to be a bit stubborn and excitable. She also had to be kept on a leash in our yard because she never came back when called. Then, when she saw people she loved or who seemed friendly, she would run to them out of love and jump on them. These habits made it difficult for her to keep them around people or even walk with them. We ordered a collar hoping it would help us train her. We didn't use the collar's vibration or shock properties because it wasn't necessary. Our pup responded to the signal. If she doesn't listen to us calling her or a person jumps, all she needs is a click of the sound button and she'll get back to our feet. It definitely helped and I would recommend trying it out. We saw results within a day of using it on our pup. We were even able to walk her off a leash in the garden! Battery life is excellent, if only to use noise. Easy to use and definitely a good learning tool.
