Vibration and shock functions work better for my pet than the sound. This caught my dog's attention when he disobeyed my verbal instructions not to leave the yard.

I was skeptical but my dog (who is very obedient when within 10 meters of me and less obedient when further away) responded well to this soft reminder collar. I bought this collar to stop a rampaging fence attack when the neighbor's dog was outside. This works great and my dog no longer jumps on the fence and barks frantically when the dog/human/cat/squirrel walks by the house. I believe in this collar. It took about 15 minutes for her to stop her angry barking. Wonderful!

These collars are fantastic. We use them without bumpers and have not had to use them. Sound signal and vibration are abundant. The only drawback is that the remote control is not waterproof. With our four dogs we go rafting and kayaking on the river. The collars are waterproof and will work while the dogs are swimming, but the remote controls must be kept in a plastic bag. Excellent collar. I want it to vibrate when it beeps like our newest collar (different brand). My 1 year old Bernedoodle basically ignores the beep on this one. I guess it doesn't affect him that much, it just beeps instead of vibrating with him, although it might work on other dogs that aren't as stubborn and headstrong as me.
