We have a 30 lb terrier mix, Layla, who is very sweet except when she is walking her three siblings. We spent over a thousand dollars on the training and it helped a lot. She can walk behind the fence with other dogs, she is no longer disturbed by walkers or cyclists. BUT she could never face meeting another dog on our walks. Worse, when she leaves, two of the other three get activated and we did our best to restrain her while another dog walked by on the leash. We're getting older and it's almost impossible for me to hold Lila back when that happens. Instead of walking them separately, I decided to try this collar. I've always hated the idea of stun collars so this was a last resort. But this collar can be set to only use vibrations and beeps, which is what I did. BINGO! At the age of 10 she learns to calm herself with beeps and vibrations. After using this thing every day for a month, she can walk past dogs with almost no fuss. A few more weeks and I'm assuming she'll get through this. I wish I had tried it ten years ago! But luckily, you can teach an old dog new tricks. Our walks have become less strenuous and I'm sure our other three dogs will as well. Every feature of this collar is great. It doesn't have too many buttons to get confused and the safety switch protecting it from electric shock gives me peace of mind. It has a double charging cable, so you can charge the remote control and the collar at the same time. I use it every day for about half an hour, I only had to charge it once.
