I've been trying to downgrade from the expensive USB 2.0 extenders I've been using for years to something cheaper. I recently bought a WEme USB extender. which was complete rubbish and didn't work in any configuration. I threw it away after an unsatisfactory encounter with their support team. This device - the U2EX50 - costs a little more than the WEme, but its quality is infinitely better. Rugged metal body (compared to cheap WEme molded plastic). Good solid cable connections. The AV Access device worked as soon as I plugged it in and worked immediately with every device I tried it with. It's better than what I used. I will definitely be replacing my other USB 2.0 extenders with these.
