I bought this product to use in my diesel truck. Despite the fact that the manufacturer suggests using it only for gasoline systems, I decided to try it. I have used it on my Toyota truck for the last two years and it has worked great with the first (supplied) filter that is still in use. In my country the diesel fuel at the gas station is very dirty and most diesel truck owners have to change their standard filters regularly (expensive). I put this filter in front of the OEM filter and haven't had to change the OEM filter since, which I used to have to do every three months to avoid engine running problems. I recommend this filter to anyone who wants trouble. freewheel.
