At first I thought the tapered design was a bit odd. Either way, the grip is comfortable as you can't touch the bulbs with your fingers while holding them. Maybe it's a small problem. One problem less. If you are new to DIY, get spare plastic clips/clips in advance. Any used car may have its original clips worn out. Replaced old clips with new ones. [UPDATE] First impressions of night driving are fantastic. I turned on the fog lights on dark roads. The visibility improvement is just too incredible. You have to see it yourself. I find that I rarely, if ever, need to use high beam again in urban areas.
