Review on YA 7007 Yamaha Performance Replacement Filter by Affan Yeo

I love my 700 Grizzly, but Yamaha can't make the filter unit any cheaper. I figured K&N would help improve Yamaha's bad design since I use these K&N filters in everything engine related. This filter leaves a lot to be desired. The rubber gasket around the filter tears easily (3 out of 4 have small tears) allowing dirt to pass around the filter. The filter itself only accounts for around 60% of the area that can be used for filtration. There's no way to use a pre-filter, so you'll have to clean that filter often because it gets clogged. I have two filters on my quad to get through the weekend. I expected better.
