Easy installation. Remove the push pins holding the top of the Jeep's grille in place, gently pull the top of the grille forward slightly and loosen the tabs holding the bottom of the driver's side grille (I attached the other side calmly). Place the grill insert behind the Jeep grill and reassemble. You will need to wiggle the insert a little to ensure it is fully seated and the notch provided is in the correct place. It's going to be snug - it should be snug - that's what keeps it in place. I have a 2017 Sahara Smokey Mountain Edition with dual grille (was with gloss black grille inserts). I was concerned that the ribs on the back of the grille, only available on the Sahara models with black or silver inserts, would prevent me from using this item without modifications, but it fits perfectly when fully behind the Jeep grille seated. It didn't need to be trimmed or modified. It has a snug fit which is great as it doesn't move. The cut-out in the grille is ideal for connections. I like it! Looks great and offers the protection you need while still providing plenty of airflow. Very happy with this purchase.
