I have to say I only bought this because I was curious how useful it would be with my Oculus Quest 2. And I have to say damn it. I have yet to test it with OTG media hubs (also with HDMI and SD card support)/devices (USB flash drive), but if you want to experiment with OTG for Quest or a smart device that would be great. Device to start with: 3 (How I used it: Plugged into a portable USB hub to also connect my gaming keyboard and gaming mouse to it, which are regular wired devices that I plug into my computer; they work without that Quest 2 is required to charge at the same time !However, some other smart devices may need to be powered at the same time just to be able to use wired devices on the A port; this was the case with my LG v60.)
