I love my old Jimmy but when it comes to protecting my phone I still have issues. First of all, in California we have to mount our cell phones in the lower left corner of the windshield. It's amazing when you can; 1. Find suction devices that stick securely to the windshield and 2. It's not going to be a hot day because my iPhone is just overheating. Pay attention to AC ventilation? See the quarter stuck in the vent? This neighborhood is a sign of failure. Actually there are two errors. Firstly because my iPhone has an actual case the magnet barely holds unless I stick it on the outside and even then a dent and it falls off. Then there is reason for a quarter. The air vents are not tight enough to support my iPhone 6S! I can't imagine a larger phone working very well. There is another problem my beloved Jimmy has. The coasters are tiny. This is the first device that securely holds my small phone in place. The cup holder tightens well in my small cup holders. Also, the cable that comes with this set seems to be quite well built and as a bonus, unlike many other iPhone cables, it goes through my 'O' brand Uber phone case. Edit to fix the rating. Okay, but prepare to fix a small issue in warmer climates. (See second image - August 14, 2020) And so, in a few months, begins our summer in Northern California. The phone holder in the cup holder is always loose and needs constant tightening. Then I notice that the rubber pads start to move. Obviously the glue on the rubber pads is heat sensitive. The pads slide down and the phone holder with cup holder falls to the ground. Since the pads come off intact I think I can peel the tape off of them and stick them on permanently. I would advise the manufacturer to consider a small change here.
